About the Event
How often do we give ourselves the time to slow down and just be with out having to do? We know we want to, we know it would feel good, we know we would like to do it more often, but.....there is always a BUT. 'Stretch Lab' is an opportunity for you to just be with yourself, and us, as we ever so slowly breathe and move into those parts of our body we almost forgot we had. Stretch Lab is lightly guided and heavily intuitive. Rather than moving thorugh specific movements and poses like a yoga class, we will each be moving in the way that our own body wants us to move in. I will guide you to be more aware of your body, becasue if you listen closely you will find your body is always whispering to you, beckoning you into deeper relaxation and deeper connection with yourself.
I have heard of many people having difficulty sleeping during this COVID time, so I have decided to offer this class in the late evening, before going to bed. This will give us a chance to disconnect from the stress of the day, from our technology (kind of), and to slow down our bodies and minds so we can ease into bed and receive that delicious rest, waking up refreshed and ready for a new day.
These classes are 1 hr. You do not need any special equipment, and people with all flexibility levels are welcome! Please dress comfortably and find any space (large or small) where you can move freely and uninterupted.
