Sacred Prostitute

Ok, I still haven't seen the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and I don't know if she is a princess or a hooker or what....I guess I don't know anything about her except that I LOVE Esmeralda and dress like her sometimes, and when my friend told me I was her I felt YESSSS!!!

We have so many parts of ourselves. So many inner characters. I used to go around with the fake name of Jezebel - without consciously even knowing her character from the bible - it just popped into my mind one day when someone asked for my name and I didn't feel like telling them Karen. Jezebel was a very controversial Queen of Israel who sought power and was eventually murdered.

Since then, the name Jezebel has been used to describe cunning, ruthless, and evil women, prostitutes and sorcerers. I do feel there is an ancient prostitute in me somewhere. A lover of mine caught onto this as well and called me 'Sacred Prostitute' at times when I would get extra saucy and put on my seductress eyes and high priestess grace. But Jezebel is too obvious a name now that I know more about her.

I started calling her Isabella when I realised what a Jezebel referred to. Maybe it's time to change this inner prostitute name to Esmeralda...even if she was a princess or heroine. I'm feeling a connection here. Hello Esmeralda!! I guess I'll have to watch the Hunchback of Notre Dame tonight.
